Step-by-Step Operation Guide for 3-in-1 Decoiler Straightener Feeder

In a stamping workshop, the smooth operation of the feeder directly impacts production efficiency. Changzhou Jinzhide has compiled a practical step-by-step guide to simplify loading, leveling, and automatic feeding on a 3-in-1 Uncoiler-Straightener-Feeder. Even beginners can get the machine running quickly, reduce setup time, and maintain consistent production.

1. Loading the Uncoiler (Decoiler)

Step 1: Loading coil onto 3-in-1 uncoiler with press arm and positioning guide

Before operation, switch to manual mode. Raise the press arm and lower the support arm. Retract the material frame and adjust the inner and outer positioning arms so the coil aligns with the feeder’s centerline. Use a crane or mobile trolley to place the coil on the frame, close to the inner guide arm. Then expand the frame and lower the press arm. Finally, adjust the coil stops and support arms, cut the packaging straps, and the coil is ready for feeding.

2. Threading the Straightener and Servo Feeder

Step 2: Guiding material through leveling rollers and adjusting folding arm for smooth feeding

Raise the folding arm and open the leveling rollers. Adjust the spacing of the entry guide rollers so the material can pass smoothly. Rotate the material frame forward or backward to feed the material under the folding arm, then lower the arm to guide it into the leveling rollers. Continuously fine-tune the rollers and folding arm until the material width fits perfectly. Lower the support arms to form a material loop and switch the frame from manual to automatic mode. Use the jog button to observe feeding and adjust the correction handwheel until the material exits smoothly and evenly.

3. Automatic Operation with Punch Press

Step 3: Switching feeder to automatic mode and starting synchronized stamping with punch press

Switch the feeder to automatic mode. Once the stamping press is ready and the feeder is in position, the OK light will illuminate. Start the press, and the feeder will run automatically in sync. For safety, first check the feeding motion using the single-stroke mode before switching to continuous operation for stable production.

Following this workflow makes loading and feeding on a 3-in-1 Uncoiler-Straightener-Feeder easier, reduces setup hassle, and ensures smooth operation. Changzhou Jinzhide emphasizes that attention to detailed adjustments and safety checks is crucial for consistent production and material quality.
