Recently, Changzhou Jinzhide Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. completed the installation and commissioning of three sets of Decoiler Straightener Feeders at a customer’s factory in Malaysia. The equipment has been connected with the customer’s Stamping Press production line and will be used for continuous metal stamping production.

For stamping manufacturers, stable coil feeding is an important part of automatic stamping operations. The cooperation between the feeding system and Stamping Press directly affects production continuity, material processing condition, and daily operation convenience. Based on the customer’s production requirements, material specifications, and factory layout, Jinzhide provided three sets of Decoiler Straightener Feeders to meet the requirements of automatic coil unwinding, straightening, and feeding.

This project included equipment delivery, overseas installation, commissioning, and operator training. Through on-site service, Jinzhide helped the customer complete the transition from equipment arrival to normal production operation.

Integrated Decoiling, Straightening and Feeding Solution

The Decoiler Straightener Feeder integrates three functions into one machine: coil decoiling, material straightening, and servo feeding. Compared with separate Decoiler, Straightener, and Feeder equipment, the integrated structure makes the production line arrangement more compact and simplifies the connection between the coil material and Stamping Press.

During operation, the coil material is first installed on the Decoiler section. After the coil is expanded and positioned, the material enters the Straightener section. Multiple leveling rollers process the sheet material to reduce deformation caused by coil winding and improve the material condition before stamping.

After straightening, the servo feeding system sends the material into the Stamping Press according to the preset feeding length. The entire process combines coil loading, straightening adjustment, parameter setting, and automatic feeding, helping the customer achieve a more organized stamping production process.

Equipment Inspection and Installation Process in Malaysia

After the three Decoiler Straightener Feeders arrived at the customer’s factory in Malaysia, Jinzhide service engineers first carried out a complete inspection before installation.

The inspection focused on the three main sections of the equipment, including the Decoiler unit, connection plate, and Straightener Feeder head. Engineers checked the machine appearance, mechanical components, electrical parts, and accessories to confirm that the equipment remained complete and in good condition after transportation.

After the initial inspection was completed, Jinzhide technicians worked together with the customer’s staff to arrange the machine position, complete electrical wiring, and add lubricating oil to the required parts.

According to the customer’s Stamping Press layout and production requirements, the engineers adjusted the equipment installation position to ensure smooth connection between the Decoiler Straightener Feeder and the stamping machine.

During the installation process, Jinzhide service personnel also explained the working principle, equipment structure, technical parameters, and application range of the machine. Through on-site communication, the customer’s operators gained a clearer understanding of the equipment operation process.

On-site Operation Demonstration and Training

After completing the installation, Jinzhide service engineers carried out detailed operation training for the customer’s team.

The training covered the practical operation of the Decoiler Straightener Feeder, including how the equipment works together with the Stamping Press through feeding and release signals, how to adjust the feeding line height, and how to complete coil loading, expansion, material positioning, and sheet feeding.

Engineers also demonstrated how to set feeding parameters through the control system according to different stamping requirements. Each operation step was explained and tested on site, allowing the customer’s operators to understand not only the machine functions but also the adjustment methods used during daily production.

After the demonstration, the customer’s operators operated the equipment by themselves. Jinzhide technicians stayed on site to provide guidance, answer questions, and assist with operation details until the customer’s staff could independently complete basic machine operation.

Supporting Daily Operation and Maintenance

To help the customer manage the equipment after installation, Jinzhide provided operation manuals and maintenance guides together with the machines.

The documents include daily inspection items, equipment operation instructions, lubrication requirements, and basic troubleshooting methods. Combined with practical training, these materials help operators understand the daily maintenance requirements of the Decoiler Straightener Feeder and improve their ability to handle common operating situations.
